Young African Leaders Condemn Gunmen Attacks at the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou.

On behalf of Young African Leaders of West Africa, I would like to express our shock, sorrow, and condemnation of series of attacks at the French Embassy, the General Staff of the Armed Forces Headquarters and the downtown Ouagadougou, in the Koulouba area.

As concerned African youths, we seek answers to questions of insecurity, political instability and economic disenfranchisement that confront us each day and strongly believe that behind the shades of these complicated challenges, critical solutions will emerge and Africa as a continent can become a safe place for all and sundry. We are truly horrified by this action.

Our thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with the families of the deceased and the injured.

As Young Leaders of Africa, we wish to reiterate our commitment to peace, safety, and security of our nations, as well as our solidarity with fellow Africans.

United for Africa!
