5 Reasons He Might not Marry You

anxious-woman

Obviously, poor hygiene and the inability to talk about anything besides your current Netflix season could explain your currently single status. However, if you shower regularly, can hold a conversation with a stranger and can smile occasionally, there are other factors influencing your dateless Friday nights. While you should never change who you are to get the approval of someone else, there are a couple tweaks to be made if your dating strategy sounds like one of these five:

Please leave a message

Being unavailable isn’t going to win you any points in the dating category. Being too busy to even go out on dates is one example, but don’t forget the others. Are you honestly emotionally ready to date? Accepting that your last relationship is over and that you are sure it’s time to date someone new is crucial before going out on a date. Also, it should go without saying, but if you aren’t physically present in possible dating situations, you aren’t going to meet anyone. Don’t hide out in your house and expect your prince to be the cable maintenance guy. Let friends invite you on blind dates; don’t bring a book to the coffee shop; and try sitting by yourself on the metro without headphones in.

It’s a ten!

Not that you want to lower your standards when it comes to dating, but include a healthy dose of reality when you make up “the list” — the mental (or maybe actual) tally of talents, perks and features you want your future beau to have. On this list, Mr. Perfect is actually perfect; intelligent, great with kids, highly educated, successful, witty, endearing, incredibly handsome, and happens to rival your love for Vietnamese food. While we’d all love to snag a perfect ten, it’s just not realistic. Choose characteristics that are truly important to your happiness. You may find you can be perfectly happy with someone who doesn’t like spring rolls and didn’t graduate from Cornell.

Playing by the rules

Again, don’t change who you are just to get a date; but following all sorts of rules isn’t going to get you one Friday night. Thinking he has to be the one to ask you out first, or waiting a minimum of exactly three hours and 27 minutes to send him a text isn’t helping you out in the dating world. This doesn’t mean you’ve got to do all the asking and door opening, but thinking you just have to sit pretty and wait to be swept off your feet means you could be waiting a very long time. Don’t be afraid to break your own rules once in a while; let yourself smile and buy the cute guy typing away on his laptop a coffee and see where things go.

Throwing vibes

You can’t see them all, but people send out some serious vibes in the dating world. A few of those vibes stop potential relationships right in their tracks. While flirting is a good way to let the curly-haired waiter know you are interested, also flirting with the table next to you and the busboy at the same time means Mr. Waiter isn’t going to even try to ask you out. Batting eyes at any guy you run into makes you come off as just a flirt, not someone who wants a relationship. Keep your flirty vibes in check and be sure you aren’t telling any potential suitors that you’d go out with just about anyone.

Table for one

Obviously, you don’t want to date someone who is selfish, materialistic and too busy to go out for an ice cream. But guess what? Neither do the guys. Just like you are looking for a guy who is smart, funny and kind, men aren’t looking for women who are rude, self-centered and ignorant. It’s sounds odd, but be the person you’d like to date. Chances are, if you are looking for someone educated, he’s going to be looking for the same thing in the girls he dates. Be the person you’d like to date to attract someone who is looking for similar qualities.

On top of these dating strategies, be sure to also add in a healthy dose of patience. Dating is half chemistry and half timing. Do what you can to be your best self and be ready to meet someone new — then see what happens.

Hope you learned?

280 Nigerians died, 43 missing in Hajj stampede – NAHCON

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria on Wednesday in Abuja submitted the report of the 2015 Hajj to the Federal Government and put the number of casualties involved in two tragic accidents at 280 while 43 have been declared missing.
While receiving the report in his office, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, commended the chairman of NAHCON, Abdullahi Mohammed, and its entire board members for their exemplary performance in Saudi Arabia, especially during the tragedies that occurred during the Hajj.

Joy it - Get refreshed by reading this article by Femi Ibitoye

The year is finally at the tail end. I know you had expectations, wishes and desires that topped your list since the beginning of the year. Some actually have become testimony and some seems as if God is not giving ears to them- and they seem to be the tough ones. Disappointments, broken heart, failed promises and all of it gather to make it seem as if you are off the track.

Kay Spirit Responded to the Rumour about his Ministry

Good Morning everyone, My name is Kolade
Bamigboye Immanuel. Popularly known as
'Kayspirit' by my friends. I am here in respect to
the recent mishappening and misunderstanding of
some of us as regards the platform through which
my ministry was expressed In Ado-Ekiti.

Let me start by introducing my ministry to you
properly.

Zoe Apostolic Rebirth is essentially ME
( if the name exist at all). "Voice of the Spirit
Outreach" and "In the Day of His Power" meetings
are platforms my ministry uses to reach everyone.

Its an Apostolic ministry sent to;
✔Bring back to the CHURCH the glory and the
call of the true Apostolic church which has its
perfect resemblance in his heart and to raise unto
him a generation of pationate labourers who will
do according to the bidings of the Lord's heart
and mind.

✔Preaching Christ the Author of eternal
salvation, emphasising that he came in the flesh,
walked the earth, overcame the world and
conquered death.

✔Teaching and encouraging the brethren to do
the same as we fix our eyes on him(Christ) the
Author and the Finisher of our faith.

This work began October 2013.
Of recent I removed the name Zoe Apostolic
Rebirth(Z.A.R) because I was shown by the Lord
that it will hinder the very purpose to which my
Apostolic ministry was raised and get people to
gather around me therefore placing a limitation
and a continuous pattern rather than seeing
Christ.

I haven't been sent to begin another
denomination or sect, we have enough already!

Everybody who has been blessed at one time or
the other by my ministry, has a uniqueness and
assignment that he or she had to contribute to
the movement of God in our time not necessary
under my work.

Therefore, I HAVE NO MEMBER(S)
in this ministry. People come from there different denominations
just to be a part of what the Lord is doing
through and in me because I am the ministry.

As regards the unruly attitude of some that attend
the meetings, I want to ask, how about the ruly
ones that also attend? I wouldn't have ever
asked anyone to move out of their denomination
or work-force in their various churches because
the question is this; to where?
I don't have a work-force that we can say they
are coming to join. I don't encourage or preach rebellion.

For the brethren in EKSU you know me when I
was amongst you. I served as an executive in the
fellowship under a president who can testify of
my submission to him and your constituted
authorities. It's a pity these affected the
fellowship I served, but I have been to the present
executives to clear these issues with them.

As regards the ones who wants to drop-out of
school, brethren, why is this a big issue? I am not
a Judge of what the Lord can say and what he
cannot. There are a lot of others who attends the
meetings and are graduates now, some in service
already, some in their final year and some others
working.

Why have slanderous men you call your
'fathers' concluded and judge me by this few who
decided to quit.

I have received phone calls and some others a
visit asking me to tell these ones to return to
school.

Listen to me pharisees and saducees of
our generation: I am not the Lord who asked
them to leave school. School leaving is one of the
smallest things the lord can require of us to
follow him.

For many who wanted to be his disciples (we all
have our scriptures), He asked them to forsake
all. That you are so fear-full of what you will eat
and drink and wear does not make 'forsaking all'
not an everlasting standard and requirement for
them that will walk as he walked.

I want to admonish us who judge others by our
limitations to exalt Jesus In our judgements
(John 5:30).

Uhmmmmm, many of us are cool as long as we
can do meetings with big names and themes and
share 'big revs', hearing of the power of the age
to come and never been able to endure the
discipline it takes to live in the reality of these
things.

You can't have two lives! you cant keep your life
and then want his own life. You have to lose one
and keep one.

Rick Joyner said and I quote: "There is no greater
folly than to know the great salvation of the Lord
and then go on living for yourself".

These is the core of my message to the church!

I do not preach sexual immorality because sexual
immortality isn't found in the one I preach "Jesus
Christ the son of the living God". I haven't
finished preaching the mysteries and wisdom in
him then I will go around about talking "kissing"!

Look, what I preach is Christ and the scriptures
tell me when he is exalted he will draw men unto
himself.

See, I am not the judge of what sin is or not, the
Holy Ghost is given to every believer to convict
them of sin, righteousness and judgement (John
16:8).

Conclusively, I am not for division, I am for
Christ! Anything that does not gather with Christ
scatters and every tree that isn't planted by him
will be uprooted. It does not matter how old or
falsely united it looks, Christ is here! He won't
come to take sides, He comes to take over. (Matt
12:22-30).

I want to admonish us as I end, to repent of
political and control spirit which is the enemy of
God's movement in every age. I also want to
advise like gamaliel in Acts 5 vs 38 & 39, who
said "therefore, in this present case I advise you;
leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their
purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail
but if it is from God you will not be able to stop
these men; you will only find yourselves fighting
against God".

I want to say like voice of them who are apostles
before me exclaimed "BEWARE OF IDOLATRY"!

Together we shall see ZION become the praise of
his people.

I love you all.

Subsisting with Perpetuity in Panorama

I get perturbed and perplexed as I keep on witnessing the rate at which moral and spiritual decadence is exacerbating in our today world.

By the phrase "our today world" I mean, our Universe at large, our Continent, our Nation, our communities, our families, and our individual lives.

We actually think that things are changing for the good, but I see evil under the skies.
